Invasion of Beef Hamburgers

After ruling and taking over the entire world by its great looks and taste, this tasty piece of beef placed inside two buns is popularly known as the hamburger. It is set to take over traditional eateries and hamlets in Africa.

Africa is the land of natives and here nature is at its rawest form. The lush green grass, the tall and towering trees, and in between all this extreme beauty of nature one can now enjoy one of the most famous inventions of modern times – a delicious hamburger!

Like a king who initially struggles in conquering a new land, the hamburger also is facing trouble in this new land. Many important ingredients that make up this delicious dish are difficult to find in this land.

The main element of a hamburger is the precisely cooked, full of juice, beef patty. This is the taste maker. The supply of beef is not only expensive but also very difficult throughout Africa. With the opening of worldwide popular fast-food chains like Harvey’s, Burger King, Johnny Rocket and McDonalds, the demand for burgers is increasing – especially among youths. The major problem these outlets are facing is the unavailability of the perfect beef patty.

These chain owners have tried to cross-breed local cows to get the best beef but it was all in vain as such breeds cannot flourish in the African weather. Therefore, many are now forced to used open-breed ranches; here cows are brought in from other parts of the world. Such a policy tends to ensure immediate supply of beef at the right time to cater to the increasing demand. Such a measure will even reduce the overall cost of the burger, making it more available for the masses.

The locals are still trying to combat their personal problem; and eventually giving this pleasurable food a chance. These brands are catering to returned immigrants or an elite class for the majority. The taste and ambience are the same as in the country of origin and no such experiment has yet been done; only some places are experimenting but a major breakthrough has yet to be achieved.

Once the locals accept and welcome the taste of this foreign delicacy, surely a touch of culture will be added and explored. This will add another flavor to the already full taste of the hamburger.
