Hamburgers

American Hamburgers

Just close your eyes! And imagine yourself sitting at the dining table of a cafe; after a routine but hectic morning, waiting for the meal to invigorate your body in order to restart for the rest of the day. You are far away lost in your own world when all of a sudden, a burger is placed in front of you!

This will come as a waft of fresh air, making you forget all your reservations of life and you feverishly indulge in this delicacy. With juices flowing in your mouth and your burger dripping with sauce; you enjoy this burger and you will relish the taste until the last bite.

In the United States, hamburgers started off as fast food available in all the fast food restaurants. Basically, hamburgers are the reason why fast food and such restaurants became popular in US and now the whole world. It has taken the place of a proper dining food and now is making its place in formal dining as well.

The two buns have one or more beef patties in between, plus other amenities. These include cheese slices, onions, tomatoes and lettuce. Mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard also form important elements in all the restaurants of the US. French fries are a favorite food served alongside burgers.

Many out of the ordinary and unique versions of hamburgers came out, such as Juicy Lucy in Minnesota. Here, the beef patties have cheese inside them rather than on top of it.  The cheese is surrounded with raw meat and is cooked until the cheese begins to melt. So, just imagine the feeling your taste buds will receive when the melted cheese oozes right into your mouth.

Apart from the US, all countries, large or small, have their own identity as far as hamburgers are concerned. In a low carb hamburger, lettuce leaves are used in place of buns. The rest of the condiments are not present or in low quantity and the patty is even slightly fried.

The United States love their hamburgers because they are easy to eat and carry around; the best form of beef in my opinion.
